We are delighted to participate for the first time at Art Paris that will take place in the beautiful temporary home for the fair: Grand Palais Éphémère. We will present works from three contemporary artists: Casper Faassen, Miho Kajioka and Yoshinori Mizutani.
Casper Faassen
From the Dutch artist Casper Faassen we will exhibit his latest works related to Japanese culture. With the Japanse dancer Madoka Faassen has created a new series Madoka on her gracious movements. Faassen has also created new objects for his ongoing series ReCollection, in which he photographs and reworks asian objects that are collected by others in order to add them to his own Wunderkammer. And we will present Faassen's latest zen-like seascape. Faassen will be present during the fair and will have a book signing in our booth J7 on April 9 at 4 pm.
Miho Kajioka
A mix of Miho Kajioka's latest poetic works and older ones will be exhibited, together with artworks that are also the lids of her handmade book, And, can you hear the peacocks now?
Kajioka will be present, also to sign her handmade book and the trade edition of And, can you hear the peacocks now? that has recently been published by the (M)éditions & IBASHO on April 9 at 2 pm in our booth J7.
Yoshinori Mizutani
Yoshinori Mizutani has been captivated by the large populations of lime green parrots in the urban environment of Tokyo for many years. In 2013 he made a compelling series of these ubiquitous birds, Tokyo Parrots, that launched his international career. IBASHO will exhibit works from Tokyo Parrots and from the other two series in his birds trilogy, Kawau and Birds.
