Anaïs López (b. 1981) is a visual artist and storyteller known for her long-term multimedia projects that blend fiction and documentary. Through photography, film, and text, she creates layered narratives that at first glance seem mythical, but ultimately reveal deep truths about the world we live in. Her groundbreaking approach has earned her a reputation as a pioneer in her field.
Her acclaimed project The Migrant was nominated for a Golden Calf at the Netherlands Film Festival and won both the Dutch Directors Guild Award for Best Digital Storytelling and a Zilveren Camera for Best Storytelling. López’s work has been exhibited in museums and festivals worldwide.
